Cultural Activities

The Cabo Frio city has grown around 7% per year, one of the highest taxes of the country. Worried with the plan less process of urbanization and tourist growth, the owners, who are Architect, Economist and Environmental Gestures, have developed, in the Peró Hostel, a project with some features:

- Offering to local community and the H.I. members and nom members, cultural and sportive activities; discussion, workshops, debates about Environment Education and our Ecosystem;

- Participating with the community and H.I. members of the development of the Sustainable Ecological Tourism;

-Trying to operate within the limits of resource, minimizing the environmental impacts made by tourists, by effective energy-use and waste-reduction, recycling techniques as the organic and inorganic garbage;

- Seeking in the community and between the guests for the creation of the an Ecological meaning about the importance of our Natural and cultural resources, its maintenance, interpretation and management;

-Allowing the guests to gain an understanding about the visited region;

- Getting better the social-economic and intellectual conditions of the local community;

-Social equity and community involvement in local, regional and national plans;

-Getting better the quality of life of local community.
